Looking at digipaks

I made a collage of digipaks to see how they are constructed. I like that they use a range of images on all of the covers because it gives you insights into the album. I like that all of the images relate to each other, for example, the Rihanna album has a red/pinkish theme and the CD is a rose which are linked. 

Trying out editing

I tried out some editing on a video of my friend. I wanted to try out different ways in which I could make the footage look blurred and as if they are drunk and thought that this was the best effect. I also think this would be a good effect to use to make it look like the footage is like looking through Maias eyes when she is drunk.

Magazine advertisements

I made a collage of some Indie/ Indie-pop music magazine adverts to see what kind of images they use and the kind of colour schemes they have. I noticed that a lot of the adverts are dark with hints of colour which I quite like the idea of. A lot of them have images of the band or artist which is what I think I am going to do for my advert since it establishes the artist and allows the audience to identify the artist straight away. 

Filming diary 2

I had planned to do some filming this Saturday however when I looked at the weather forecast I saw that it was going to rain and snow pretty much all day which meant I couldn't film anything since all of the shooting locations are outside. I also had plans on Sunday which meant I couldn't film either.

 

As you can see the weather is due to rain and be very windy all day. I decided to reschedule with Maia for next Friday.
