60 seconds of music video-Someone like you(Adele)

This is the video in which me, Shannon and Daisy filmed, edited and produced for our media brief. We had to reproduce 60 seconds of a music video including getting the shots, props and location as similar as we could to the real video.

Risk Assesment

-Be careful not to fall off the bridge.
-Be careful that character does not fall over whilst she is turning.
-Check that it is not going to be too windy to film.
-Be careful of traffic coming over the bridge.
-Ensure that character is not allergic to make-up used in filming.
-Be aware that robbery could take place (camera equipment could get stolen).

Lyric Timing

The frist task I did was to figure out the lyric timing which means timing how long the shots are.

The first shot is 42 seconds due to the fact that it is just a pan of her walking beside some water.

The second shot is 18 seconds which is a fade of Adele's face over the background of a bridge and fountain area.

Music Video

Our group (Me, Shannon and Daisy) decided to use 'Someone like you' by Adele for our brief due to the fact that it will be easy to do. This is because there are only 2 locations which we would have to use which are both easily accessible, there are minimal props and the costume and hair is very easy to do since she is only wearing a coat and has half of her hair up. I think the hardest thing will be the fade shot which lasts 18 seconds because it will be hard to get the timing right however overall I think we will be able to make this resemble the real video quite realistically.
